Feeding birds

This winter we decided to put bird feeders on our balcony. It was a first for us and we enjoyed a lot watching these feathered visitors. It inspired me to draw and paint this little one:

Pattern

On an evening when I was not inspired to draw I forced myself to at least doodle. This little pattern appeared on the paper and I was pleased to have tried:

Oh if only people were as easy to draw as drawing doodles!

2013 in Doodle

A little different this time, at the end of 2013 I decided to create a big doodle with events and memories of the finishing year.

Here it is:

 

The 0 of 2013 for example was inspired by our holiday in Granada, Spain, the top left corner is inspired by a shawl I finished knitting, the top right corner has the cover of a book written by a friend, and the birth of England's new prince, each element having its meaning.
